As a part of the Volunteer Behavioral Health network, the Hiwassee Mental Health Center offers a wide range of programs for people with both mental health and substance use problems. The center in Tennessee helps men, women, and children, and it makes care plans just for people with more than one diagnosis. Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and outpatient therapy for adults, kids, and families are some of the programs offered by the center.
Patients at the Hiwassee Mental Health Center can get a variety of types of therapy, such as solo, group, and family treatment. The center also offers telehealth services and control of mental medications, so patients can get the help they need no matter where they are. For people who need help right away, the center has staff on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and a full cleansing program. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is also available to help with withdrawal symptoms.
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) has given Hiwassee Mental Health Center its seal of approval. This shows that it is dedicated to giving people with mental health and drug use problems excellent care and effective treatment.
